We're a family with a wooded yard and a very active kitchen in Zeeland, Michigan. Every Friday we drop fresh sourdough focaccia, homemade cookies, and seasonal goods — made by real hands, kids included.
What we make
Our menu rotates with the seasons, but these are our anchors. Every item is made to order — no sitting on a shelf, no guessing what's fresh.
Menu changes weekly. See exactly what's available on this week's Hotplate drop →
Our Story
We're a family rooted in a wooded property in Zeeland, Michigan — the place we call The Whiskered Woods. When we started baking together — sourdough, cookies, jams, and eventually handmade goods — naming the business after our home felt natural.
Our kids have been growing up in the kitchen. We spent nearly three years living aboard our sailboat, where cooking in a tiny galley taught everyone in this family to make the most of what they had. That's still how we cook and bake: thoughtfully, seasonally, and with everyone involved.
We also happen to share our yard with deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, chipmunks, all kinds of birds, and a fox who visits more often than you'd expect. He fits right in.
How it works
We bake to order, which means every item is made fresh for the person who ordered it. Here's how the week runs:
